try countrywide home loans. They are usually willing to give accounting degree holders jobs without much experience (as long as you know your accounting, have basic office skills such as typing and using calculators). My friend got a job there checking collateral. She later moved up to working at Warner Brothers as a contracts administrator. Goodluck.

Suggestion: Numbers, my friend, numbers.
I'm talking about numbers of resumes and contacts directly with potential employers. Send out a minimum of 20 letters per day... try to call at least that many places on the telephone. Also, visit some businesses and let them know you have a degree in Accounting. There's strong demand for accountants... so you shouldn't have much trouble.
