There are several other 1-loss teams from the SEC ahead of Arkansas in the rankings, which is stupid considering Arkansas 1 loss was to the #2 team. Auburn's loss was to an unranked team. Tennessee is on their way out. LSU is a great team and deserves a high rank but they are behind Arkansas in the conference standings and should be ranked as such in the polls.

They are ranked #11 as of today. Isn't it kind of harsh to say they'd have to win their conference before getting bumped into the top 10? Sounds extreme to me.

they didn't have to beat usc in the opener, they just needed to not get killed by them. the razorbacks are certainly deserving of alot of respect although they didn't exactly put a woopin on steve spurrier's crew.
it is also common for the polls to be flat out wrong, even in this day and age of the bcs. and there's no more quantifiable strength of schedule component in the system so that messes things up for sure too.
there are still 2, maybe even 3 very losable games left on the hogs schedule, without having to mention it.
good luck and go sec football!

They’ll have to beat everyone left on their schedule and must win the SEC title game

if they beat USC in their opener, they definitely would have been in the top 5.

they may have to slaughter the rest of their opponents now.
