I've met many that are very intelligent, so I know that they aren't all simply stupid. So what's wrong with them? Blind hatred maybe? Are they simply evil?

ignorant ,crazy, befuddled, confused, whatever you call it...anyone who thinks the government can take care of people better than they can take care of themselves really isnt eating with a full picnic.

I wonder the same thing every day about people who still like Bush! And no, I'm not stupid OR evil, but I do have a disabled family member,eldery parents & I work with the disabled, all who have suffered under the conservatives who have been running the country who only care about the rich getting richer!!!

I always wonder when I read some drivel like this, does the questioner ever look at the answers.
Since the question is so ill formed there is no way anyone could answer with any meaningful information.

Look in your own backyard first. I know many conservatives who are full of blind hate. Their hatred for liberals are part of why I don't even consider their viewpoints seriously anymore.
