theyre supposed to be investigating federal crimes...just a few years back they were the clintons lap dogs...vis a vi travelgate and billy dale...hopefully thats changed

The Federal Bureau of Investigation can overrule local police.
In other words the police are restricted to their own city or State
as the laws are different from one State to the other.
The FBI have national jurisdiction and can act in any State
of the USA.
