why does he wear a big dumb CLOCK around his neck is it cause if he didn't he would n't know what time it is? its time for him to Go is what time it is!

Its just his trademark to separate his character from the group "Public Enemy" which had a lot of members of the group. Plus a lot of the songs from the group had him repeating the line "What time is it". So it just identifies him from the other 10 or so others from the group. Otherwise, no one who remember who the hell he is.

In the episode of Flav of Love 3 whenever he had the girls parents come and meet him and Sinceer's mother asked him that question and Flav says the reason why he wears a clock is because he says that time is very important to him and that it is very precious and can never be replaced thats why he wears a clock all the time.

every rapper has a unique style and that was his trade mark when he firsat started and I believe it was because of a song called " Do you know what time it is"
