I wish i new what state your in. I could get a good agent for you. Check your local paper for ads looking for extra's. But beware of some agents. A good agent will except pictures from a reg camera taken by a friend. If they want you to pay for 8x10's? Be careful. You want to make money. Not put it out. So start as an extra. You have to be willing to work long hours though. Hard work pays off. The more exposure you get in front of a directors camera the better. Three important things to remember though when starting out. 1. Can't be shy. 2. Never be late. 3. Have to be able to take direction. As you go along you will expererience bad days and good days. But you have to be willing to want it bad enough. And as an extra your agent will send you out on go see's and auditions. Some start out and find that acting is not for them. I had acting in me since i was young and worked my way up the ladder. It payed off for me. Good luck to you.

Can you act? try out for extras, see if you can bear it.It's like a job, but it takes you away from home, it last about 3 months to do one motion picture and the glamor and glory is all make believe.
It's hard work. Can you memorize lines, like a whole book and play the part, get into the character, if you have to ask, well, I'm not going to tell you. And a star, you have to be very lucky, a star, you're funny...

Well, depending on where you live has quite a bit to do with it.
It's very hard to break out into the movie star scene if you live in Podunk, Kentucky compared to Los Angeles or New York.

Look for auditions in your city or surrounding cities. Do a search online or check your local newspapers.

First of all it depends on what you have such as face or talents, etc. If you have those qualities then you have to have guts to go to some auditions. There are a lots of opportunities or auditions being conducted in TV Stations. You just have to wait for some audition schedule announcements by watching them on TV. Or if you can sing well try singing contest on tv.

well, you have to be good looking and talented.
You need to be in Los Angeles, because they don't
like to go out of their way.
And it wouldn't hurt to use your 'charms' at auditions.
