This is good for candle wax in any fabric just about.

Lay flat on top of the wax a clean ink free paper bag

Heat an iron to a low setting

Gentley run the iron over the bag

Slowly lift the bag to see if the wax is coming up

It's best to get it all out in one shot

It will take a little bit of time...but well worth it

well i will not use ice cube on the carpet cause will not work at all. other thing i wouldnt use water wont work either cause it will make the carpet get wet and keep the wax from the candle too sticken. so i would try to se youre own hands to pull it off or if doesnt work then i would use sissors to cut it little bit to take off the dried wax from the carpet. not alot just the part you see just throw it away. just go back to the carpet to see if there anything missing if not then when she comes home after her trip she wont even releazie there wasnt anything on the carpet at all.

Take an old towel or light colored rag, lay it over the wax, use a medium heat setting on iron, press cloth, keep changing to a clean spot until all wax is removed.

Similar to the above but think a bit more about it. You use the iron to make the wax warm and therefore melt, how would you lift a liquid - yes, use something absorbent like kitchen roll.

Warm iron on top of kitchen roll on top of waxy carpet.

Hope your mum doesn't find out about your party. I had far worse mishaps and several clouts from a disgruntled parent to show for them.

Put wax paper on it and then run a hot iron over it. The wax should adhere to the paper and you can pull it up.
