Ok.. I have a 1994 5spd fuel injected Honda Prelude. When I first start it up, it stays idle for about 1 min. Then, the idle keeps going up and down from 1500 to 2500 for about 2 min. Then from 1500 to 2000 until it eventually levels out and stays at one steady idle. I have no idea why the hell it keeps doing this! Please tell me what my car needs done and how much it costs about? Thanks!

Sounds like a problem with the automatic choke in the ops computer. Take to to a shop you trust for a diagnosis.

Get the throttle body cleaned out, and the IAC cleaned up as well. Most likely has deposits all over in them areas to affect what your computer wants to really do.

Answers are possibilities, could be as simple as a vacuum leak though, take it to a mechanic
