Naturally. I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions.
I suggest The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy, very exciting. Captain Blood by Raphael Sabatini, that's a good one. If you want more modern, go with Jurassic Park by Michael Crighton, how fantastic that one is. Or you could read Children and Fools by Terry Mirll, that one is just outright hilarious.

If you like Stephen King, try Firestarter. I love that book! It was the first book of his that I read... I can still feel the endorphin rush after I read that! Also, try the Dark Tower series... They're great! :-)
