Gossip- a few questions?

At school, currently, a friend's angry at me, and she's spread a lot of rumors about me.

Some of them are true: secrets that I've told her. Some of them aren't true. And everyday, there are people whispering stuff about me, and it's really getting on my nerves.

It's not really easy to ignore gossip about you when there are a numerous rumors about you. And everyday, she spreads more rumors about me.

How can I make her stop when she hates me? And how do I not get so upset about all this gossip?

it's hard. if you can, talk it out with them calmly without accusing them. but you can't make someone stop, and will only get yourself more upset trying and it will feed them with more to talk about. the best (can be hard) way is to ignore and not play into it. if you start talking about her then just as bad. go up and ask people who are whispering "hey, what's the latest on me this time". then walk away laughing and shaking your head. if someone says something to you, smile sadly shake your head and say "isn't it a shame how people seem to believe the worst about others" . there is a saying, "truth and oil always rise to the top" the truth about the situation will come out and how you act will in the end influence people towards you. even if you feel hurt don't show it, and don't lower yourself to their standards.

You get what you give. Start fighting fire with fire. If she's being a b*tch and ur sick of it, put an end to it. you can either confront her, physically or verbally (i would choose verbally for the sake of not getting into a lot of trouble) and tell her what the hell is goin' on. if she doesn't listen, than u should get some of the dirt on her out into the open, and start spreading rumors back. not specifically a nice thing to do and it may be a little hypocritical, but it gets the job done.

Does she spread a rumors like-that you are pregnant through your teacher?Why don't you not ignoring the rumors which are spread around you.You're bolder than you think.Sprinkle some kindness towards your she friend.Don't do yourself chicken soup for the soul.You like to stop her spreading a rumor! First of all get your courage up and tell her in front of everyone that what she is saying is bs and that she needs to stop being so jealous of u.If she says she is not jealous then say that u must be because u can't keep me out of your mind. For what I hear u are always talking about me.That will make her stop. Good luck and next time don't tell people things u don't want anyone esle to know.

First of all, I would no longer consider her your friend. Find someone else that you can trust and ignore those rumors. Try to stay away from her and go the opposite direction. You don't need to put up with that.

you know what gossips r okay sometimes but if they keep going around just ignore then then ur friend will notice that u don't care that she's spreading rumor about u and she'll stop!

You need to learn from your mistakes too. You need to keep things to yourself. She needs to grow up and move on. She is probably jealous of you...try ignoring her and hang out with people you can trust. I have no clue what kind of gossip it is but maybe it might get you to be popular.
