A good question, since we don't have any clear objectives in being there now. First it was find the nuclear weapons and other WMDs, then it was to depose Saddam, then it was to spread democracy, then it was to wait until the Iraqi's adopted a constitution, then we were there to train the Iraq army and police to stand up for themselves (then we would stand down), now, we are in Iraq to finish what we started, whatever that was! Oh, also we're there so the guys who already died won't have died in vain. The ultimate justification for more to die! Republican logic can be extremely dangerous.

Where have you been? Or haven't you been listening? We are "staying the course" Mission to bring down Saddam Hussin, accomplished, then we had to stay the course to correct the destruction of one regime, by establishing another. Don;t ask why Iraqis couldn't do that.

areal answer:
Missoin accomplished means we broke the machine that Al Qeida created, the reason why troops are still dying is the Iraqi people are afraid to stand up and suffer(meaning death and sacrifice for what is right) and take the matter into their own hands at least at this moment(why should they die when we can)for them.Thats why we are a super power and they are not

thats the thing there was no mission accomplished, bush should be the one in iraq not our troops. Whats going on now is that we r over there rebuilding what we tore down, it still makes no sense to me

Because you voted for a ban on gay marriages, a ban on embryonic stem cell research, and faith based initiatives. (Yea, I'm a liberal!)

Ok, ok... I know YOU didn't vote for those things, but those are what allowed Bush to remain in power.

By the way, did you know that years ago, America helped install Saddam as the Iraqi president to prevent the same violence we're seeing now?
