Someone loyal whether they are qualified or not.
I do hate to see such a humble man let go.

We're stuck with Runsfeld for the next two years - Bush has indicated he thinks Rummy is doing an excellent job. This obviously shows that Bush isn't playing with a full deck, but we already know that.

President Bush said this week Secretary of Defense is staying to the end of his term.Impeachment proceedings[Board of Inquiry] of both before the end of the term always possible! Still think both turned the Dept of Defense into a Dept of Offense!

He just this last week publicly stated that Rummy will have to stay to the end. You know something the rest of us don't?
Answer - I don't believe he will be fired. Maybe run out on a rail...but not fired.

He should fire him, but it will never happen. I have no idea who Bush would select, it would be a mistake regardless of who he choose(because he choose).
