Yes, we are real people -- as in human beings. About 10% of males and a significant but probably lower percentage of females are homosexual (meaning that they prefer the same gender for love and intimacy). Something approaching 50% of the people who are homosexual are "out" -- which means that they don't mind letting other people know what they feel and they don't try to hide. Those people who are out are commonly called Lesbian or Gay. Transgendered is slightly different but usually counted in the same group -- Transgendered people are those who think they were born as the "wrong" gender. They are different inside than they are outside. So a boy might feel he was really a girl, or a girl might feel she was really a boy. Transgendered persons account for a small percentage of people in addition, and very rarely overlapping, lesbians and gays.

I exist. That's it. I'm bisexual and open-minded and I'm definitely not alone in GBLTQI. And no way am I somehow paid by Yahoo- God, if that rumor is starting, the paychecks better start coming in!
