I had my daughter baptised at 3 months. She was an angel and didnt cry once, slept through most of it. My son was done at 10 months and hated it. Its easier when they're young. MOst people do it early incase something happens to them eg:SIDS. (god forbid) and gives them the peace of mind that they will be looked after in heaven

It depends. Some religions like them baptized at like ten years, but I am Catholic and I was baptized at like, three weeks I think.

we had our son baptised at 4 months old, and he did very well, he was only cramky for a little bit. I think it might have been easier though if we had've waited a little bit. I would say probably around 5/6 months. But thats just my personal opinion.

I would say when the baby can hold up its head while on it stomach, which would be about 5-6 months.

Good Luck!

i thought baptism was a symbolic gesture to make your faith known to others and profess your desire to follow Christ. Shouldnt a person be at least old enough to grasp that concept first? Do you really think an innocent baby is going to go to hell if you dont sprinkle water on its head? If you can show me where in the bible it says that those who arent sprinkled with water are eternally damned, then i would love to see it. otherwise, why follow a false religion that relies on man-made tradionalism rather than faith and the one true God?

It probably depends on your religion. I'm Catholic and it's usually done at just a few months old.
