A few years ago his girlfriend and him were going to have a baby, but she was stillborn, Keanu and his gf broke up (still good friends) and a few months later she was kill in a car accident.

There was a rumor he was gay when a David Geffen, a gay record producer, had a painting of the creation of man and Adam looked like Keanu when he was young, so there was gossip about he and Keanu being like married at that time. Keanu neither denies nor claims he is gay. He states he doesn't see why it should matter anyway and I agree (not that anyone cares, of course).

Anyway, in 1999, he was seeing Jennifer Syme, who was an assistant to some big director or producer, she met Keanu through Marilyn Manson (they supposedly hang). Keanu bought her a nice ride (for her and the baby), and a new house while he still stayed at the Chateau Marmont. Unfortunately, I believe it was Christmas Eve, 1999, that the baby girl was stillborn. I think Keanu stated in an interview about two weeks before the baby was due to be born, Jennifer went to the doctor and there was no movement or heartbeat and Jennifer called him screaming. So they knew their child would be dead when born. Sometimes the fetus is carried to term (if not too long) until the mother goes into labor naturally. They named their little girl Eva (or Ava) Symes Reeves. I think she had a middle name of "Marie" but I cannot remember. She is buried at Forrest Lawn Cemetary.

Keanu and Symes relationship soon ended. She got the house and the car and while Keanu was filming the Matrix in Austrailia, Jennifer had a car wreck after being driving home by a friend after leaving a party at Mansons. Jennifer died on impact as she was thrown through the windshield and the vehicle rolled on top of her. Keanu came in and was a pallbearer for Jennifer. Her Eulogy in the paper stated Keanu Reeves was the love of her life.

All this is from magazine stories I've read and interviews I have seen Keanu in over the years. I don't think he is gay but I do think Keanu has more of a gothic side to himself then what he shows the public. He is 42 years old and was born on September 2, 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon. His mother was an English showgirl at the time (whatever that means), and his father was Hawaiian/Chinese. He was a geologist. His father got involved in drugs and spent time in jail for cocaine possesion. Keanu's mother has been married like four times. She had a another child with Keanu's father, a girl named "Kim" who has Leukemia and who Keanu pays for the best care. Must be because she was diagnosed with it in the early 90s. He bought her a villa in Capri where she breeds champion Italian horses. His mother married someone else and they moved to Austrailia, then New York, then canada. Finally, she decided they would become Canadian citizens. Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. don't really have heavy restrictions regarding citizenship for citizens from these three countries. Say your American and want to be Canadian. I think you just request it or something like that. That way they know which country should tax you.

Anyway, Keanu's mom became a designer for performers like Alice Cooper, Dolly Pardon (just to name a few). She was known to have a peach mohawk then.

Just because Keanu is 42 and not married doesn't make him gay. If you could have a different woman everynight, have other kids (rumored to have a daughter with Tonya Vece, a Los Vegas PR person who denies it all. Tonya no longer has a PR company but is going to law school with rumor saying Keanu is paying for it all), and not be tied down when you have lived your life as a virtual vagabond, would you get married? I wouldn't.

Keanu Reeves isnt married nor is he gay. Hes 40 years old. Keanus fiance actress Jennifer Sime and their unborn child was killed in a car accident 2 years ago. POOR guy.

No he is not married. He is not gay. He had a gal pal Jennifer Syme a couple years ago with a baby on the way. Jennifer lost the baby In January of 2000 and they subsequently broke up there after.
