yes, in order to be a politician, you have to be a great manipulator, but not a liar... in fact, nobody can tell the truth everytime, so what politicians do is to tell the truth in a way that it is convenient. I see nothing wrong with that. Instead of saying "I hate you", they may say "I don't like you very much"

This may be what politics has become in this Country, but it may not be where it needs to stay. It does not have to be that way. It would be very interesting to see election and campaign reform laws that may serve to keep these type of people out of politics. Maybe alter the incentives, so decent people will beable to participate. I like your brother, maybe he should run for office.

The nature of a politician is just that. Thing is, I don't think I can differentiate between liberal politicians or conservative politicians because of this. They are all stewing in the same pot of filthy water in my opinion.
