Most of the ones in stores today are man-made, but you can still get the free range heebie jeebies at some specialty and health stores.

You can get the heebie jeebies both ways...from say a horror movie and from being in a dark house after watching said movie about glowing eyes from a floating head then seeing glowing specks and getting the crap scared out of you as a little kid...true story happened to me late at night after watching a horror movie on television by myself...the glowing specks? A couple of lightening bugs that got in the house! LOL

the heebee jeebees are a natural occurence, when you feel like your skin is crawling or you get really nervous if something frightens you. In the same vein as people who say they felt someone walk over their grave but they aren't dead yet. It's an eerie feeling.
