That literally just happened to me. I had to take it out the wash like a big parcel and try and find everything it swallowed. Its just a big greedy duvet.

That always happens in the tumble dryer too although in a Dyson washer - duvets don't roll in a ball as they're designed for washing duvets!!

Close up the buttons/fastenings first or maybe tie the open end with an old clean pair of tights so nothing can get in, then wash.

i always fasten the bottom of the duvet up before i wash, never had any problems.

Do up the poppers/buttons and always wash it inside out its easier to put back on then.

zip or botton it up, I was doing the same, socks and undies were all in the duvet,no zip or bottons ,pin it together
