When I was in a landlocked state, I'd always want to go to the beach when I visited a coast. Now that I live on a coast, I've never been.

Miam is not where the beach IS. You have to come over the bridge to get toMiami Beach. for the ocean miami has only rivers and waterfronts, and lakes and The Bay. No not anymore sick of it I live A block away from it. and it is as said same S**t different day.

i can totally relate to the above poster. I grew up in a land locked state, but visited the ocean every summer. Then I moved and lived 2 blocks from the beach. For 7 years I lived on the beach and only went down on it or in the water when I had company visit. Sad hu??????? I guess when you live away from it you appreciate it more than if you have it full time in your face.

Probably about 2 X's per month. More in the summer. You have to go early, or you'll swelter, and parking can be a problem. The winter is the best time.
The Florida beaches are great.
