YES!! You always underline book titles or put the title in italics. ALWAYS!!

If your paper is typed on a computer, use italics, just as a printed book would. If you are using an old-fashioned typewriter or handwriting, then use underlining as a substitute for italics. Use one or the other - not both.
Chapter titles would fall into quotation marks.

when writing out by hand you underline, and when typing you italicize them
