I know there's no such thing as a cologne for women. But are perfumes only made for women, or are there perfumes made for men also?
My understanding so far is that:
colognes = for men only
perfumes = for women only
Please confirm/refute my current understanding.

Actually, there r colognes 4 women, but u r right as far as i know there r no perfumes for men

I don't know of any perfume for men. But, you can find cologne for women. Perfume and Cologne are different in the smell. I think perfume have a softer scent, while colognes are stronger. Hence, why men wear cologne not perfume.

There is cologne which is cheaper then perfume. Perfume is 100% where as cologne is a clone of the perfume.
You get cologne for women as well as men. There is perfume for men, which is the 'real' stuff, and not the imitations.
Colognes = For Men and Women. Imitation cheaper
Perfumes = For Women and Men . Real stuff. expensive

Cologne is a slightly weaker version of scent than perfume. It is made for both men and women. Men's scents are not called 'perfume' but they do have many nice scents in the intensity that perfume comes. I'd suggest you check out a local department store for the kinds of scents and levels of scent that are available.

Ok. Actually..I think there are colognes for women as well. Eua de toilette.is a version. Actual perfume more concentrated. That makes me question..so will look it up. Good luck. Great question! And I so know that was in all probability spelled wrong lol.

Perfume or cologne are the same thing. It really doesn't matter what you call them. Perfume just sounds weird for guys that is why they are called cologne.

you are right colognnes are for men only and perfumes are for woman only. they do not make perfumes for guys.
