be using the touch machines or something else to vote? I' m excited this will be the first time to use them where I live.

We get a black marker and get to connect the arrows (makes you feel like you're back in kindergarten!). A good question to ask is why do we have so many different ways to vote in the U.S..? Wouldn't it make sense if we all followed the same process? And wouldn't it be great if we could all vote via the internet or telephone? (Surely they can make this a secure system!) Anyway... thanks for voting!

Will you also be excited to know American voters, including yourself, have no way of knowing whether their vote was counted accurately, not counted at all, infected with a virus to change your vote, be overseen by Venezuelan nationals and Hugo Chavez the president of Venezuela is part owner of said machines, the large yellow button on some models allows the machine to be put into manual mode and a person can vote over and over. Power outages, machine malfunctions, and a host of other negative possibilities. Another threat to our democracy, how stimulating.

I vote by absentee ballot since I am deployed. I hope those touch panels are accurate. Kind of hard to do a recount if its all digital, ya know?

They have said there are problems with the mother boards in the Diebold machines, we use paper ballets and feed them into a counter.

I hope there is a paper trail on those machines. If not the only record is stored electronically and is too easily changed.

i will not be voting, i dont vote, call me whatever, but i think they ALL suck, i think they ALL are sh!tty, so why would i even bother to vote.,,. everyone thinks they all suck in their own certain way, so what is the point.. maybe the day one guy is voting us to be slaves, and the other guy isnt, maybe that day ill vote.
