Hyland's Teething Tablets are the BEST teething remedy available.
Cold, hard stalks of celery work really well. They reach anywhere in the mouth and baby can't bite anything off until he has quite a few teeth.
Keep a metal spoon in the freezer to offer baby.
Freeze a wet washcloth.
Put an ice cube or a "boob cube" into a baby safe feeder.
Tie an ice cube up inside a baby sock.

For food? Try a frozen waffle but watch the baby closely because pieces may come off and they can choke. You could try one of those water filled teethers, just put it in the fridge to get it cold ( don't put it in the freezer because it can give the baby frostbite on their gums)

There are medicine. But we didn't have it back when i had kids so we took a wash rag and put a ice cube in the meddle then raped a rubber band around it. Then let baby have it so they can suck on it and freeze there gums.

If you use a pacifier (dummy, dody, teething ring), then wrap it in a plastic bag and place it in the freezer for a couple of hours. Then give to your child. the coldness numbs the gums without harming them.

both ashtons & parsons powder & teetha powder worked well for my two but also give them calypso icicles ice poles, i wrap it in kitchen roll & let her sit in her chair with it, not only does it numb the gums but it gives her something to do to take her mind off the pain - these ice poles have no additives or sugar as they are made from fruit flavored mineral water - hasn't done mine any harm x

Put a banana in the freezer and leave for about 10 minutes, then peel and let your baby chew on it.
