A whole cup of Coffee was just split on my Mobile. It is totally soaked. I have removed the battery, dried it and put it on top of the TV. The screen has gone misty around the sides. Its the Slide Nokia pink so quite bulky. Whats best to dry it out, i didnt know whether to put it on the Radiator? Has this happened to you, what did you do, did your phone work properlly again? Advice needed urgently, Thanks

Panic over! I dried it with a hairdryer on a cool heat from a distance, and the screen started clearing. I put the battery back in, called someons and i didn't sound like i was under water! Its all working fine again but i am still going to leave it overnight on top of the TV, Thanks

I've heard you can take out the battery and place the phone in an oven at 150 degrees until it is dry or take the battery out and use a hair dryer on it. Hope this helps.

i'm a verizon employee and i have customers come in literally on a daily basis that have spilled liquid on their phones. most of the time the phone might turn on but there is internal damage that cannot be repaired. the problem might not happen right away but in the very near future, your mic might go bad, speaker might go bad. if it works fine, great.

Water + electronics = toast, sorry . . . they rarely live again.
Hopefully your carrier is the one that has a 'new every 2 plan'.
