Mainly the mass, which affects all of the others. They larger the mass, the higher the temp and gravity, which affect the time for the various fusion processes to occur. Higher mass, faster fusion and use of fuel....shorter life-span.

size really detrimines all of the above which inturn affect the life of the star. Generally bigger stars live less than smaller ones, and smaller ones have lower gravity and mass than big stars except for n stars which are very dense.
