What does strained meat mean?

I am going to start feeding my son more solids, and wanted to know what strained meat or vegetables means.

It is really nasty stuff that smells and looks like dog food or barf LOL Meat is cooked thoroughly then puree'd with some liquid until it is an edible consistency.

It just means meats and vegetables that have been pureed and strained through a sieve for larger lumps; so baby does not choke and the foods are easier to swallow.

It means that it has been cooked and pressed through a strainer with small holes so that there are no big pieces of the food. This allows your baby to eat without needing teeth.

It means ground up into little pieces, literally pushed through a strainer, although these days a food processor is more efficient.

It means they were cooked until soft and then forced through a mesh. Soft disgestible baby food goes through, stringy bits and undigestible junk stays behind.

You can make your own baby food, but as cheap as the store-bought stuff is, I wouldn't bother...

I t means that when the food is not juicy or wet,it means it is dry. but why do you want to feed your son solids?
