I am applying for may california state universities, and recently took two SAT's. Do the colleges take the best score of the two or do they average them out, or does something different happen alltogether?

Most schools will look at the highest overall score, although some schools will pick and chose, using your highest score per section. Cover your bases by calling the admissions office of each school that interests you and asking that question. You will feel much safer and the whole process won't take longer than an hour. For more information, attend a free "admissions 101" seminar at your local Kaplan center.

Chico is a quite undemanding college to get into. I say your chance is contained in the 60-70 percentile. advance your SAT score to about a 1750-1850, attempt to get a 5 or 4 on the AP attempt, and raise your GPA to a 2.8-3.0 if accessible. then you definitely will be high quality.
