i mean dat if u r pregnat but can't find a way 2 tell ur parents bc ur 2 scared, can u go to a doctor & have an abortion w/o ur parents knowing a single thing?

That depends on what state you live in. You are getting a lot of miguided advice. You need to find out if the state you live in requires parental notification, this first step just informs your parents that you are pregnant. Then you have to find out if your state requires parental notification when it comes to "treatement" which includes abortion. Not ALL states have the same requirements some states don't require parental notification for anything medical past the age of 12. Some states it depends on what the treatment might be (a teen goes in to get ears piereced...yes some states STILL require piercings to be done in a medical facility). Some states require no notifcation after the age of 16. But first YOU have to find out, oh and if your state requires it and you try to go to another state and have it done by LAW they have to notify the state you live in and THEY will notify your parents and the procedure will not be done. If you're NOT pregnant and just getting information before you have sex I suggest you don't have sex.

How can you be scared to tell your parents you're pregnant, but weren't scared to have sex at such a young age? Sex is a wonderful thing b/w two people who love each other and are willing to take any responsibility after the act. My friend had an abortion when she was 15. I hadn't met her at that time, but after we met and I got to kow her, she confided in me to tell me that she went to get an abortion. The sad part was that her mom MADE her get one. You know what else she told me? That it scarred her for life. That everyday she wakes up guilty knowing that she KILLED anopther human being. A lot of people say that it's just a fetus and it still has no feelings, but did you know that at 25 days the baby already has a heartbeat? Yoiu must tell your parents and keep that child, otherwise it will be considered MURDER.

Parental notification is now required. Call Birthright and maybe they can help you tell your parents. 800-550-4900. Please don't abort...you might be carrying the person who will discover the cure for AIDS or some other disease...or someone who makes a positive difference in the lives of many. Your parents will be upset...but it won't be the end of the world...remember, you are carrying their grandbaby. Or there is always adoption. Many people want a baby and cannot have their own.

you might be able to if u go with someone else who is an adult. but you should think about it if u really want to give up ur baby or not because its ur baby and its growing inside of u. think it through before you make ur final decision because u have to live with that decision for the rest of ur life. you could be giving up something might mean alot to you if you had it

Don't have one its like you killing ur own child cute baby. how could you and u never know maybe ur child is the one who well find a cure for breast cancer. Tell ur parents that you made a stupid thing and they have to understand.

No the doctor is required to tell your parents and besides any doctor that didn't want to lose their job would say you need your parents consent to get one in the first place.

I think that depends on age... I was 16 when I got pregnant with my first child...the guy said he'd love me forever...haven't seen him in over 7 years....I remember being so afraid 2 tell my parents.... I finally sat them down and told them what had happened. True they were mad but I wouldn't give anything for my son...

If you are a teenager and you dont want a baby then you shouldnt be having sex, b/c there is always the possiblity that you will get pregnant no matter how careful you are. You did it now be responsible about it, if you dont want the baby give it up for adoption. But for cryin out loud, dont kill it!!!
