There is so very much to due in Florida, you wont get bored, I can promise you that. We have beautiful beaches on their coast and being in Orlando you are half way between either coast. On the east coast there is the Kennedy Space Center and if you are lucky there might be a launch while your here and that is something to see, there is also the famous Cocoa and Daytona Beach they both have nice beaches and many other things to see and do. You can take an airboat ride and see the wildlife we have here. There is plenty of shopping and if anyone in your group has an interest in Classic Cars there is Old Town and Saturday nights they have a car cruise with all cars from 1972 and back, there are quite cute shops and ride attractions there also, it's located on Route 192 and I'm sure anyone at the hotel can give you directions. Be ready for the afternoon thunderstorms they can be quite exciting on their own and the best thing is they are FREE. I hope you have a great time and enjoy our wonderful Sunshine State. KG

Oh, my God! 21 days?! That's a long time, and that's expensive! You are very lucky, and you're going to have an incredible time! I just booked my vacation for the same time, but not as long. I'm going July 15th to 25th. (Maybe we'll meet up, or something. lol) What Resort are you staying at? I'm staying at Disney's Polynesian Resort. I think July is a fine time to go. It's the only time I can go, too. I'm still young and in school, so summer's the perfect time for me. It is very hot, and it will be pretty crowded, and very crowded during the week of the Fourth of July, but you're going for three whole weeks! If the weather's bad or the lines are way too long, you can find something else to do, and you have plenty of time to go back to the parks.
Since you're going to be there so long, take advantage of all the recreational options. I'm sure you won't want to go to the parks to go on rides every single day. Take a tour at one o fthe parks, maybe. I took the Seas Aqua Tour this August and it was so amazing. We got to go swimming in the aquarium with the sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and other fish. It was the most amazing thing I've ever done. I'm doing it again in July, definitely! Also, instead of watching the fireworks from the crowded park, take a fireworks cruise. We took the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks cruise. It was awesome! We had a perfect view without being surrounded by hundreds of people. The cruise itself was very nice, too. The driver was great and they give you drinks and snacks. There's so much other stuff to do. Definitely see Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba. It's breathtaking and mesmerizing! Disney's Indoor Interactive Theme Park is a lot of fun, too. There's golf courses and places for mini golf. At the Contemporary Resort is Sammy Duvall's, where you can go parasailing, tubing, water skiing, etc. You can rent a Sea Raycer personal watercraft or take a guided fishing excursion. We did both in August. The Sea Raycers are a lot of fun, and fishing was fantastic. I'm the necessarily the fishing type of girl, but it was a great time and the guide was very nice, and a cutie. I didn't have to touch the bait or the fish at all if I didn't want to. We caught a lot of big fish, too! Don't forget, there's too awesome water parks. My favorite is Typhoon Lagoon. I love the huge wave pool and the Crush 'n' Gusher. Before the park opens you can take surf lessons in the wave pool. Another cool thing you can do at Walt Disney World that a lot people don't about, you can take racecar driver lessons at the Richard Petty Driving Course near the Magic Kingdom, and at the end you get to do a few laps around the track, and you actually get to drive! There's just so much fun stuff to do at Walt Disney World! You should have dinner at one of the restaurants at the Polynesian Resort, or maybe go to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. Check out the Resort, it's very beautiful! And watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant from the beach.
Have a great vaction! Maybe we'll see each other.

P.S. Pay no attention to the guy above. I could go to Walt Disney World for over a month and not get bored or run out of new things to do. Walt Disney World really is like its own world.

a) You should go according to your convenience.
b) Be aware that it is very hot and humid at that time of year with frequent (mainly afternoon) showers.
c) Staying in a Disney property Resort is a great idea, though quite expensive.
d) Three weeks is is a great deal of time to limit yourself (and family) to only Disney Parks.
e) There is a lot to explore (other than Disney) in the greater Orlando area (including other amusement parks).
f) Also check out possibilities to both the East (Atlantic Beaches) and West (Gulf Beaches). They're both wonderful areas of the State and are less than a 2 hour drive from Orlando.
g) Reserve a rental car early to get the best rates, and explore.
h) Final advice...Enjoy!

You must be very wealthy to stay in a Disney resort for 3 weeks in the prime time. You will get bored since you can do everything in one week. The summertime is jam packed with families and even the Disney resort pool areas will be over-run with little kids.
My advice is to go to Disney World for one week and then go to a condo on the ocean for the remaining two weeks.

21 days! Lucky you! Well, both times will be busy. I went this last summer from June 24th until July 4th and it was packed, but not miserable. Just keep in mind that July 4th is one of the busiest days at the parks. My vote goes for June. Pack breathable clothing and good walking shoes. Take advantage of nearby beaches, the Downtown Disney Marketplace, Pleasure Island (if you're over 18), and other area attractions such as Universal or Sea World. I worked at Disney for months and I still didn't see everything.

we are just back from florida last week, been for 16 days still not long enough. Only done 2 parks MGM and Busch Gardens had a great time theres so much more to do than disney. Try the Boggy Creek airboat rides - fantastic and the monster truck safari also at Boggy Creek brilliant. we went to Daytona beach, cocoa beach and lots of other places, if youve got kids Green Meadows petting farm is great fun. where you can milk cows, feed baby goats, holds baby pigs, chickens, train rides and ride on haybales on a tractor.

21 days of disney? that should give you ample time to see about everything. learn to ask people that work there when the shortest lines are -- they are at different times for just about everything.
