I must smell the peanut butter, a new box of crayons, coffee, and bath soap. Am I weird?

I do the same thing. I love the smells. New books smell the best. I need to smell what Im gonna eat before I eat it. And definitley before I drink milk.

No you are not I do that all the time...the only thing I have not smelled is crayons but just about everything else especially milk, other dairy products and bread even if the expiration date is not up...and I always smell liquid detergent, soap and air freshener before purchasing them. If they do not smell good to me then why buy it, ya know? You are not weird at all!

I am guilty of doing that too.If its something for eating it makes it more pleasurable to smell it first.I smell all sorts of strange things,even when I have had a sniff before and know what it smells like.You are weird and you are not alone.

I don't think your weird at all. Some of us are just olfactory enhanced, and enjoy the scents of things. I like all nice smelly things too, but i always check the milk , i learned the hard way once that even though it is new it can still be chunky.

Yes I do. I smell all types of food. If I open a can I listen for the seal to break then look and smell it...haha

No you arent weird....I am a smeller too....and I can stand in the deoderant isle or the candle or bodywash or shampoo isles for an hour trying to figure out which one to pick too....lol

If you dont believe smelling and taste arent together, then try holding your nose and eating something, then see if you can taste it...we live in our sense's and if it dont smell good, then it probably wont taste good....am I making any sense? I tried...
