I have always wondered what it is like to be in an aeroplane flying over areas where there are fireworks going off.

What can you see and how does it look ?

You are probably 35 thousand feet too far away to see anything.

Mind you, you would probably still hear them, they are all noise these days.

Yes, we came over london last year and had a good seat (window of course), it was not until very low over heathrow that we saw anything but what little we saw was good, except it`s not the same without the sound.

No, but it would be nice to see that though. I went to AZ this year on holiday and i had seen thunderstorms from the Plane, it looked so awesome, but it was dangerous though!

Yep I have - it's amazing, but doesn't last much longer until after you've taken off, because you're so much higher than them after about 5 minutes!!
