I'm trying to figure out how to apply to be a art docent (tour guide) at local museums, where do I start?

does anyone know what "industry" this would be. I have a Bachelor of Science with a Studio Arts degree, and other skills that I feel would make this a great job for me

Contact the museum Director and ask the same question. You might want to volunteer at a couple of museums in your area to see which ones you prefer and get to know some people in the industry. Good luck.

Go to a museum and ask the director.

Be aware that many docent posiitons are volunteer, not paid.
