Since it does not go away , but stays there, I don't think you have to worry about it, otherwise its sounds like herpes. but in any case why aren't you using condoms then there is no worry. Or almost none anyway.

Hey girl, I have a few questions for you, you said had, past tense. Does this mean he no longer has them? And you said Ex- Why are you worried about this now? Just a question I'm making no judgments.
If its a gland, then I wouldn't worry about it. I have a gland under my wrist that looks kind of like little muscle when I flex it.
I have 4 lil' white bumps under the head of my penis. I had it checked out and it isn't anything like an STD. I've had thme sine birth and found out it was from my circumcised. Just giving you options before you assume the worst.

The following is a possibilty....Chancroid is an infection that initially is seen in a sexually exposed area of the skin. The infection typically appears on the penis but also occasionally occurs in the anal or mouth area. Chancroid starts out as a tender bump that emerges 3 to 10 days (the incubation period) after the sexual exposure. The bump then erupts into an ulcer (an open sore), which is usually painful. Often, there is an associated tenderness of the glands (lymph nodes), for example, in the groin of patients with penile bumps or ulcers. Chancroid is a relatively rare cause of genital lesions in the U.S., but is much more common in many developing countries.

Have you ever broken out (I'm thinking Herpes). I think your x-bf didn't tell you the whole story behind what's going on. I would call your own doctor and explain to him about the bump's on your x's penis and ask him if that has to do with a glandular problem. I've never heard of that before except with herpes.
I would also go get yourself checked for STD's - something's not right.

I wouldn't connect this with HIV but it could be some sort of STD. I am in an associates degree program for nursing...I graduate next semester...and will be an RN if I pass my state boards...
I would not connect this with any sort of gland problem. If I were you I would go get checked out now and in 3-6 months!

I hope I am understanding you correctly that he is a "ex" NOT a present bf? I would go to the Dr and be tested myself and explain what he told you and am sure the Dr might call him in to be tested again. It sounds like it could very well be a STD,but am NOT an expert, just someone concerned about you and others who will be reading your question as well. Good luck, praying for you to have a clear bill of health in all of this ^j^

Std sounds like ... if he went to the doctor then the doctor would have told him what it is ... don't have sex with him until he clears it up... or better yet go with him next time and hear for yourself what it could be ...that way he knows your concerned and he'll have someone there for him no matter what these bumps could be... maybe he's washing his clothes in some detergent that is breaking him out b/c he's alergic to it... either way make him wear a condom ......
