In late Spring you could set off from Munich and travel south into the alps of Germany and Austria. Not far away are also beautiful lakes. The ski lifts will still be open to take you into the mountains to see fantastic views and lovely wild flowers.

Personally I would go to Switzerland because Switzerland is known for their alps. I loved there and you can view them from basically everywhere you are. If you go to Lucern (Luzern in Swiss) you can see the alps everywhere and take gondola rides up the mountains. There are a lot of the mountains still open during the spring so you could go skiing or go eat at a restaurant on the alps. I was there from March til May and I loved it. I had the Alps in my backyard everyday. It was wonderful, I could literally walk to it. Have fun. Check out the site below on Switzerland.

Springtime in the Alps is still rather rainy and fresh... but you could enjoy nice weather and a lot of sightseeing also in the lakes region of Italy (Lake Maggiore) and Switzerland (Lake of Lugano) where the temperature is nice.... careful not to go climbing in springtime, because of avalanches !!
