Greetings!

I think Napolean said it best, "Empty stomachs have no allegiance!")
As the gap continues to grow between the have and have nots, when the people (the masses) realize they do not nor have not for some time had a voice in their government they will overthrow the government peacefully or otherwise.
The first long rage cause of the fall of the United States came in the late 60's. It almost sparked and happened in the seventies when there were major riots in Newark, Detroit, La etc.
The US is not immune from revolutions.
It will take a spark, because many of the other conditions are now ripe.
Good Luck

Rebellion is possible when the people have had enough and the ballot box no longer works. The military is not loyal to any party. Quelling a large uprising would probably not be successful.

Politicians are whores and will do anything to remain in power. Those that fear the people most are anti 2nd amendment and do their best to disarm the people to prevent an armed rebellion. The usual excuse is crime or children.

First, they disarm the public.
Second, they limit speech and press.
Third, they search and seize at will.
Fourth, they kick in your door in the middle of the night and take you away.

It's not only possible, it's coming! The country has swung so far left that the only possible way to save it is to revolt. If the dumbocrats win the Congress and that moron Hillary is elected President, we WILL have a civil war.

No. They're already spraying our skies, with poison. Plus they have illusions of Granger that they can control the weather, without mother nature biting them in the butt. Look up sometimes. If a whole state rose up, by morning it would be silent.
