If you use number ones as a yardstick, in the UK it took Elvis forty-five years to surpass a record which the Beatles set in just seven. As for record sales, the Recording Industry Association of America has certified that they have sold more records. He will be remembered as a great performer. They will be remembered as great creative artists, and their music will outlast his.

Wot a load of twaddle

Yes everyone will remember Elvis' songs

But you have got to remeber Elvis died through taking drugs ......... but went down as a heart attack ....... this is open to debate

So wot Elvis will be a role model to everyone ... I very much doubt it

Yes, I confess, I am "jelious" of Elvis. I want to be fat and dead, too. But we all have to accept our lot in life, so I'll just have to resign myself to being slim, healthy, happy and alive.

The man was good in his day but in the end he was pathetic to watch. He was addicted to drugs, overweight and very aggressive. Who would be jealous of that?

It is your opinion. not mine.Beatles- are greater than him.
