If the police will not help you, call 1-800-799-SAFE or 1-800-799-7233. That is the number for the National Domestic Abuse Hotline, available to all 50 states, 24/7. Call them and they should be able to help you get out of your abusive marriage. Good luck.

Well I hope that this is a serious question because it is a serious issue and should not be joked about, but common sense will tell you to get out of the situation and go to the police. I mean if you are being serious then this should be a answer you already know. I should hope that it is,

Dar,
PLEASE leave him as soon as you can. Don't let him know you are leaving, he will try and stop you. Then when you are clear and safe from him call the police and report him and have him arrested. This man is got a problem and I quarantee you are not going to solve his problem by remaining there as his punchung bag. Get out before he really hurts you bad.

How long has this been going on?? I was in a physically abusive relationship for 2 years. Unfortunately, I lost my virginity to the jerk. It was hard getting over him just becuase of the mental/emotional brainwashing that you experience from this kind of situation. Does he do other things to you to? For instance, in my case, i was only allowed to talk to him, not allowed to hang out with friends (even other women), and only allowed to wear baggy, unattractive clothes.

It sounds ludacris to people who have not been in situations like this why you are even still in it. But I understand how the situation kind of locks you in. You are probably afraid to be alone again, and feel like he might change. My ex made so many promises that were never kept, and he hasn't changed to this day (about 6 months after I finally escaped him).

You need to get yourself away from this man. It will be hard, especially if you have kids. But your kids will be in a better place away from this abusive man. After all, my ex learned this behavior from his father, and he only lived with him until he was 5. His mother fled the state.

Whether you have kids or not, nobody deserves to be beaten. Surround yourself with family and friends who will love you and support you through this rough time. You've made a mistake by marrying this man, but honestly, he's not going to treat you better unless he finds God - which won't happen unless he wants to. He is immature and clearly not a good man to be around.

Don't worry about being alone. It will be awkward/depressing at times but please, please don't contact him. It will only make your feelings for him return. If you have the financial resources, consider moving from the town in which yall currently live and move close to your family.

As things get settled from divorce, go out with friends, and contact old friends. Go out on the town, enjoy dinner, a movie, crafts, etc. Get involved in volunteering and other sorts of community activities. Who knows where your real love may be looking for you. Good luck and God bless...

beat the crap out of him then leave then get some people to kick his *** again. that what i did. dont call the police cause it aint gonna do anything to him except lock him up for a few days then let him out and all they gonna do is give u a piece of paper (a order protection) that cant do any good. so get strong and leave and get someone to make him feel the way u did when u was wit him meaning get somebody do f**k him up badly.

Call the cops!!!!

If I ever see a guy hit a lady, I am going to kick his @ss, then kick him some more and see how he likes it.

No man should ever hit a lady!!!

Only a insecure ***** of a man would ever hit a lady.

Divorce him and find a good one..

First call the police, then while the police are on their way get a skillet and split his wig { meaning his HEAD} wide open then bury him in your back yard with his head down deep in the dirt and his legs and feet straight up in the air. SELF DEFENSE sister girl!!!
