Black smoke is oil. You could have thrown a rod, broke a piston, or have a damaged piston ring. Either way, your engine is "toast", so it's time to look for a new car. Sorry

i own a repair hop,and it might have actually thrown a rod or blowed a head gasket on it ,,but i think from what you have said it might have blown some thing in the engine its self at this point you need to have it checked out we on here cant help you with it,because we cant see or hear it run,,so id have it checked,and see what they say about it,,good luck i hope this help,s,

Oh Oh ! If the engine kept running then it is probably the pistin rings. If the engine stopped it is probably piston/crank failure. If it is a turbo then it might be a turbo oil seal
ALL THE ABOVE ARE VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIRS- SORRY !

it could be a blown hose or you could have blown a oil seal or head gasket.
