For clarity: Husband is NOT an authorized user or on the account.

GA "tort immunity" prevents collecting on bad checks written to spouses. Police say bad check to your wife is not a crime...only criminal when written to a merchant or other.
I need to know if forgery charges are treated with "tort immunity" as well. Thanks

Well you are going to want a divorce after this anyway, so go ahead and call a lawyer.

You need to call Visa ASAP and report the check stolen! Then go to your local sheriff's office and file fraud charges. Get an attorney, fast.

yes he forged a check call the credit card company tell them u want to persue in court.

Get an attorney ...does he have a drug problem???? why would he steal from his own wife????Get him girl!!!

Forgery is forgery....if you have common assets they may seize them to pay you!!!! Definitely check it out with an attorney!!!
