If a person has around 1 year of domain experience in SAP (HR) and has just begun with his M.B.A (through distance education), will he be considered in a firm implementing SAP ?

It depends on how available people are with SAP experience. One year isn't a lot, but you might have learned a lot in a year. They'll probably ask some pretty specific questions in your interview to gauge what you know.

I doubt that the fact that you've started working on your MBA would make much difference in the hiring decision.

Good luck.

One year is not enough in SAP world. You need at least two years to get some interest form the market. A Mba study will not help even if you are indeed right to study :)

Good luck
