Montezuma's Revenge is a common term for digestive distress brought on by visiting Mexico--sometimes the water supply isn't as clean as we gringos are used to, and often the different food can trigger this sort of problem--and not just in Mexico.

When my son was in Iraq for the first time, one of the local dignitaries entertained his company at a dinner, and my son was sick for several days following. Montezuma was killed in the 1500s and the phrase dates to the 1800s.
