you can have hpt and blood test done 2 weeks after having sex.... that's because the pregnancy hormones takes about that time to be detected.
i have used hpt and have been very accurate.... if you do a hpt, make sure you do it with the first urine on the morning.

4 days before your missed period, or you can do a blood test at the clinic, those can detect 6-8 day after conception.

EPT after you miss your cycle. It does take a few weeks for the hormone to build up.

about a month after sex or a week after your missed period. EPT test are good
