how can I fix this problem

Blow air into the game and the adaptor. If that does not not work clean it with ear picks and alcohal

Try and blow in the game and the machine. If this dosn't work then you should either
1. Get it replaced
or
2. Get it fixed

Have you put fresh alkaline batteries in it? If the batteries aren't alkaline, then it won't work. If the alkaline batteries are no longer good, it won't right either. So, maybe try fresh alkaline batteries. They burn up fast in Gameboy.

thre could be something wrong with the game usually when that happens to me I blow in it and then the problems solved

take it to slackers(the game store) they repair that stuff
