I thought my period had gone so i stopped wearing a sanitary towel. then about 2 hours later i went to the toilet and saw i dark brown mess in my underwear. and then i put a new sanitary towel on and then bout 1 hour later i checked and it was back to lots of blood. why is this ?

It depends what you have been doing. If you have done exercise or a lot of walking it will make it heavier. If you have just been sitting or laying then it will be lighter.

If you are on the pill this can play havoc with your periods. Also stress can do this, my periods are really messed if I get really stressed.
When I lost a lot of weight too quick my periods stopped altogether so if you have recently lost weight this may be a factor
Wait for the tell tell signs to go away before wearing protection (bloated stomach, sore boobs etc - whichever you suffer from)

It could be a number of things...are you on any meds, eg The Pill? How many days into your period were you? How long do your periods usually last, and do they vary a lot? Roughly how old are you? Sorry to ask so many questions but is hard to say without knowing a bit more info!

Hi this always happens to me i think i have stopped then i start again it could be the next day with me as well as a few hour later

blood comes out in differnt portions at different times. it is normal. trust me.

your period goes for about 3 to 6 weeks i think
