This question is rhetorical, of course, because there is absolutely nothing "conservative" about slapping the United States Constitution and the American people in the face.
If Republicans would just admit they are scaredy-cats who believe in police states, not democratic Republics and certainly not conservatism, they would have more credibility.

Conservative means to me to leave things "as is" as much as possible, have fiscal responsibility, and obey precedent. It is is not conservative to ignore laws, the Bill of Rights and court decisions. It reminds me of Sen Joe McCarthy and his effort to define patriotism by one group's definition alone and deny we live in a democracy of the people not a state of fear

There is judicial review. Take a look at the law and stop making up stuff.

The law states that they can only wiretap without a warrent calls made to foreign countries, especially ones that have been red flagged. Its conservative because they want to 'conserve', if you will, our safety

1) The taps areonly if 1 end of the conversation is outside the US. That doesn't violate the US Constitution.
2) I helps make us safer. I support it.

It seems to me that anyone who makes a big deal about the "idea" of wire tapping, has something to hide... Are you under surveillance & working for a terrorist group.... Or an international spy..... Im sure you get the point.

what's conservative about it is the fact that it's logical, and Libs don't have 2 cents worth of logic between all of them. why can't you people get it? they are wiretapping to keep terrorists out, and to keep your lazy a** from getting blown to Kindom Come! they don't give a sh*t if you're breaking up with your signifigant other, they don't care if you're sleeping with someone's spouse. They are trying to keep us safe, and if your so all-fired worried about wire tapping, maybe it's because you've been doing something illegal. Well, have you? otherwise, the government doesn't care, and neither do we. come up with a better conspiracy theory, please. (but if it has the words 9/11, and govenment in it, I'm gonna barf)

Protecting you from possible infiltrators. It's ludicrous until it actually saves someone's life. If it was never done, it would be criticized for not being done.
