In my opinion, Inter Milan will struggle even to qualify for the first knock-out round, let alone progress significantly in the competition. They currently lie 2nd in Group B, but this position is somewhat misrepresentative of their results so far. They have failed to score against either Bayern Munich or Sporting, and all of their 6 points have come from a couple of victories against struggling Russian side Spartak Moscow. They will need 4 points from there final two games to guarantee qualification.

As arguably the best European side of last season, Barcelona are having a surprisingly difficult campaign in the Champions League. They will need to take all 6 points in their final two mathces to guarantee qualification, but a couple of draws will be enough if Werder Bremen lose to Chelsea. I think they'll make it out of Group A, but I don't think they'll go all the way to the final. They haven't been as sharp as they were last season.

Things are looking much more promising for Chelsea and in particular Bayern Munich who've already guaranteed their qualification from Group B. Chelsea require just 1 point from their last two matches to make it through to the first knock-out round. In fact, if the other results go their way, they could lose both games and still qualify top of Group A.

Out of the four teams in question, I think Chelsea have the best chance of winning the competition this season. They've got some great new signings, and it's about time it was their year! They've had impressive results against European champions Barcelona so far and I think they can go all the way.

Out of those four, it looks like Chelsea might, they are playing so well in the Champions League. I would love to see Bayern win it though...a German team needs the Cup badly!

out of those 4 maybe chelsea. but Chelsea wont win it for sure. Lyon look pretty strong by now at the group stages. Real Madrid form has been good also. I go for ARSENAL!

Hi there! I am the editor of football stats blog The Football Pie Hole. We recently put together a PlayerRating Index which is entirely stats based and comes out with ratings for every player, who has played at least a certain amount of minutes, which reflects their current ability and form. For Right Backs, our Index found that Swansea Right-Back Angel Rangel is the current best in the Premier League with an overall score (out of 1) of 0.7201. On individual attributes he scores really highly for passing and tackling - did you know he averages nearly 32 successful passes every hour he plays? That's better than any other Right-Back in the league, including the likes of Glen Johnson and Rafael! *edit* higher than Zabaletta too for that matter!

Wow. I'd love to see them in the same CL group.

I'd say Chelsea. Inter second.
