volume of parcel is 36 * 20 * 26 = 18720 cubic inches
1 foot = 12 inches
1 cubic foot = 12*12*12 = 1728 cubic inches
therefore your parcel is 18720/1728 = 10 5/6 cubic feet (10 and 5 sixths)

Convert the units from inches to feet by dividing each by 12, then multiply to get area in 2D (sqare feet) or volume (cubic feet) in 3D.

There are 12 inches in one foot
1) Divide inches by 12
2) multiply all 3 numbers together.
Example:

2 cubic feet
