I doubt very seriously there are any misspelled words in the Declaration of Independence given the scholarly background of the drafters and the well documented scrunity of words those people used to come up with the document.

Usage of words and spellings change over time. The woods in the Declaration are no more misspelled than are the words in the King James Version of the Bible which was for sure done by the best scholars of the time. You can read any number of William Shakespears writings and find words that have different meanings and spellings today.

And for that matter it is not unusual at all to find differences in spelling different cultures around the English speaking world even today.

I don't know that any of the words are misspelled for that period in time. However of the answers you have been given so far, no one has pointed out the same word that was misspelled.

Spelling during the drafting of the Declaration is not the same as it is today. Standard spelling wasn't common until Webster published a dictionary.
