3 corresponds to 54 therefore 5 will correspond to 90

so company has 90 men and 54 women

total of 144 employees

For every three women there are five men. There are 54 women. Divide that by three to get 18. You can think of this as having 18 groups of three women. So you have 18 groups of five men as well. 18*5 = 90, which is your answer.
