The Milky Way IS a galaxy. I think there are more but the Milky Way is just OUR galaxy!

The Milky Way is the name of one galaxy. Galaxy is a general term. Milky Way is a specific galaxy name.
Or a candy bar.

A galaxy is a large group of stars. The Milky Way is a SPECIFIC galaxy--ours!

There is no difference. Galaxies are just groups of millions, or billions of starts compacted in different shapes over a distance of thousands, or hundreds of thousand light-years long.
Our particular galaxy is called the Milky Way. Other galaxies contain names that we give them like Andromeda, or M31.

The Milky Way is the term for the galaxy in which we reside. It originates (according to one story) because in Eqyptian mythology, it was believed that the band of faint, misty white light that went across the sky (the milky way) was the spilt breast milk of the goddess Isis.
A galaxy is any large, usually disc shaped collection of tens of billions of stars. They come in all shapes and sizes, our own is a pretty standard spiral one. We don't see the actual shape of our own because we're in it and much of it is blocked by interstellar dust. What we see are nearby stars, concentrated along one line, the plane of the galaxy.

One is just chocolate and the other one has a soft light inside lol.. galaxy can be any galaxy..the milky way is the name of our galaxy.
